Knocked-out tooth — what to do before I get there?
Hold the tooth by the crown (not the root), rinse it gently in milk (not water), and try to place it back in the socket. If you can't, store it in milk. Get to us within 30–60 minutes — sooner is better.
What about evenings and weekends?
We open Monday–Friday 9am–5pm and Saturdays by appointment. Outside these hours, call NHS 111 for urgent dental triage. For severe swelling affecting breathing or vision, go straight to A&E.
